Engage Pathway
Pupils on the Engage pathway show emerging readiness to learn within a structured educational setting. Many have diagnosed or unidentified learning needs, which can make sustained engagement challenging.
To support this, learning is delivered in short, highly stimulating segments, with a strong emphasis on developing focus, emotional regulation, and positive social interactions. Environmental adaptations are essential to reduce the stresses often associated with traditional learning experiences. The Engage curriculum is carefully tailored to meet individual needs, with targeted support integrated into the daily schedule. This ensures pupils build the foundational skills necessary to transition successfully into further education, training, employment, or apprenticeships.
